We always love going to Button Mash! Also a perfect spot to have a different kind of date night and/or have a group outing (work, birthday, etc.) Their food is amazing, they have several vegetarian options, lots of great drink choices, service is decent and the games they have are some of the best (X men, Mortal Kombat, Mario, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc.)! Only thing is parking is really terrible - there's a small lot that's always full so you have to resort to street parking and it's awful in this area. Give yourself an extra 15-20 min just for parking.

Going to Button Mash, specifically Poltergeist at Button Mash is a full experience! It is loud, it is raucous, it is weird, it is so very LA and then again it kinda feels like walking deep into the past. Or the future. It's weird! The food at Poltergeist is UNIQUE in the way that word is meant to be used. One. Of. A. Kind. Unique. It's kinda Thai, kinda random, kinda fancy, kinda playful. All delicious. It's so cutting edge, and then there's PacMan? And skee ball, and air hockey. Ok Food: Parker roll, is so amazing, we saved the leftover butter! Salads: Thai caesar and the green goddess, both amazing Prawns: marvelous Curry bucatini and beef ravioli both super interesting and loved by the table. I preferred the ravioli. Penang lamb neck: delicious! I am a chef, and i love food of all kinds, but i get a little grumpy when I go out and feel like why am I paying so so much for food I could make better. Poltergeist checks my ass. Not only could I not make it better, I probably could not make it at all! So special. So different. And probably won't be around forever since a chef that creative is gonna move on one day, and no one else will be able to fill those chef clogs. Service: So incredibly nice and sweet and attentive and helpful. I love our waitress, she has waited on us every time we have gone. Ambiance: bill comes in a small paperback YA novel. That's all you need to know.

This is a super fun place to go with family or friends, date night, etc. The lighting is very chill and the music isn't too loud. It's small but still didn't feel overwhelming. They have a lot of different kinds of beer to choose from, even non alcoholic and low percentage. The ice cream Sundae was the weirdest thing I've ever tired and don't recommend to anyone! The food seemed very basic. I was full but my friend order a burger and it looked plain. The service wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad either. But I loved all the old school arcade games! Overall a good experience, can't complain.

I stopped by yesterday for the first time right when they opened, solid beer list and tons of games to play. The staff seemed whatever with me so that was the downside. Other then that it was chill
